The Cyprus Productivity Centre, CPC, is a semi-autonomous part of the Ministry of Labour established in 1963. It has a staff of 53, just over half serving the vocational training workshops in three locations. Its annual budget amounts to some EUR 1.4m. A Pan-Cyprus Productivity Council of leaders of the social partners to advise on national productivity issues is in abeyance.

In addition to vocational training, CPC's main activities cover management and management development through up-grading and ab initio training, consultancy-advice-research for business, and public administration training and development. Its international component, the Mediterranean Institute of Management, runs an annual full-time post-graduate MBA type programme as well as seminars and consultancy assignments.
